Installation instructions
IMPORTANT: An active merchant account with CryptoProcessing by CoinsPaid is required in order to start accepting payments. If you don't have one, please email Sales ([email protected]) or follow the link to create an account.
Setup in the CoinsPaid Backoffice
- Log in to your CoinsPaid account select “Merchants” from the menu on the left;
- Navigate to the “API Keys” section:
- Click on the “Generate API Key” button (recommended: use a dedicated API key for your plugin integration) and follow the instructions on the screen
- Once generated, you need to Activate the key > click on “Activate” and follow the instructions on the screen;
- Once your Key is activated successfully you will see your Secret Key (IMPORTANT! Save your Secret Key securely; it will be displayed only once).
- Navigate to “Merchants” > “Settings” in order to setup your callback URL: http://your_site_url/wp-json/coinspaid/v1/webhook (replace your_site_url with your actual domain and ensure the URL matches a page on your Drupal website). Attention! {{YOUR_SITE_URL}} should match with an url in the Drupal plugin settings.
- After you complete the steps in the Drupal Admin, you can come back to your CoinsPaid back office and input the {machine_name} which will be automatically generated in your Drupal Admin under “Payment gateway”.
Installation in the Drupal Admin Panel:
- Log in to your Drupal admin panel;
- Download the module from the extension page;
- Navigate to “Manage” and go to “Extend” and choose the Coinspaid Commerce Payment Gateway from the results (by filtering), select the checkbox, next click “Install” at the bottom.
- After install go back to “Manage”, choose Commerce > Configuration > Payment > Payment gateways and click “Add payment gateway”;
- Choose a name for your plug-in, ie. “CryptoProcessing by CoinsPaid”, the “Machine name” will be automatically generated, please save it in your records for later use;
- Under “Plugin” select “CoinsPaid (Redirect to payment page)”;
- Under “Display name” choose a name of your choice for the plug-in;
- Choose “Mode” > Live (You can enable or disable Sandbox (test) mode if you want);
- Enter the API Key you generated through the CoinsPaid back office under “Public Key” and the Secret Key;
- Under “Invoice Mode” select “Invoice with time restriction”or “Invoices without restriction of payment type”. Also you need to change status to “Enable” for the plug-in activation and click on the “Save” button;
- You are now ready to accept crypto payments!
