ClickPatrol Click Fraud Protection
This module integrates the ClickPatrol measurement script into your Drupal site to detect click fraud, bots, and invalid ad clicks. It loads the script after you provide your unique ClickPatrol User ID, helping classify paid traffic as legitimate or suspicious across various advertising networks without altering your site's content.
Official ClickPatrol loader for Drupal. After you save your UID, it loads the ClickPatrol measurement script so paid traffic can be classified as legitimate or suspicious.
That classification is what ClickPatrol uses to spot click fraud, bots, and other invalid ad clicks. It is not limited to Google Ads. The same site tag feeds the networks you connect in the ClickPatrol dashboard, including Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest and DV360. How protection is applied differs per network and is configured in the account, not inside this module.
The module does not change your page content. It does not load the script until an administrator saves a UID.
A ClickPatrol account is required. Create one at dashboard.clickpatrol.com/register. Plans: clickpatrol.com/pricing.

Post-Installation
- Enable the module.
- Go to Configuration → ClickPatrol (
/admin/config/clickpatrol). - Create a ClickPatrol account if you do not have one: register.
- Copy Your Unique ID from the dashboard: Integration → Google Tag Manager.
- Paste the UID, save, and open a public page. Add
?source=fto force a test classification.
If you already fire the official ClickPatrol Google Tag Manager tag on this site, keep this module off. Use one install path per site.

- A ClickPatrol account and UID
- Drupal core only. No other contributed modules are required
Recommended modules/libraries
None. If the site already uses Google Tag Manager, you can install the official ClickPatrol GTM tag instead of this module. Do not run both on the same site.
Similar projects
This is the official ClickPatrol module. The same measurement script can also be installed with the ClickPatrol Google Tag Manager tag or a manual JavaScript snippet. Those are install paths, not competing Drupal modules.
