Security covered
This module creates a CKEditor5 plugin that allows users to insert charts into a text area using a form from the Charts module. A previous version of this module required manually editing the source inside your WYSIWYG field, but this is now discouraged.
Requirements
This module requires Drupal Core's CKEditor5 module enabled, and it requires the Charts module to be enabled and configured.
Configuration
- Enable the Charts and Charts Text Filter at Administration > Extend.
- Configure the Charts settings: /admin/config/content/charts
- Configure your text format(s): /admin/config/content/formats
- Drag the Drupal Charts icon into the Active Buttons bar.
- Check the box to enable Charts Text Filter.
How to Use
After you have followed the configuration instructions above, go to your field using a text format with CKEditor5 and click the Drupal Charts icon, which will open a configuration form. Complete the form (you can preview within this form) and then insert the chart into your WYSIWYG.
