This module allows administrators to place blocks on any Drupal page. It allows users to continue using this functionality, which was previously part of core but has been deprecated.

This was an Experimental -level module in Drupal 8.2 superseded by Layout builder in Drupal 8.7.
Should you choose to continue using Place blocks with Drupal 9 you can do it with this contributed module, which is continuity of the deprecated core module.
This module will be released only for Drupal 9 and it is feature-wise equal to Drupal 8 core's Place block -module (experimental core module, deprecated in Drupal 8.8.0, removed in Drupal 9).
