BEE allows any content type in Drupal to be used for booking and availability management. It supports daily or hourly scheduling, open hours, and can manage multiple identical resources. The module includes an availability calendar and booking form, with optional integration for payment processing through Drupal Commerce.

Overview

BEE, a module built upon BAT, extends Drupal's functionality by enabling booking and availability management for any node type. With BEE, you can transform any content into a bookable resource, offering flexible event granularity through daily or hourly scheduling. Open hours can also be configured to define operational periods. For managing multiple identical resources, each node can accommodate single or multiple units. BEE provides an integrated availability calendar and a streamlined booking creation form for each enabled node. Furthermore, seamless payment integration is achieved through Drupal Commerce. When payment is activated for a content type, you can define a price per day or hour, and the reservation form will automatically add the booking to the user's shopping cart.

Quickstart

Install and enable BEE and its dependencies with composer. (See instructions for installation without composer) Create a new node type (i.e. "Meeting Room" or "Equipment") and edit it - you will see a vertical tab titled BEE. Check the box to enable bookings and choose between daily or hourly availability.

Documentation

There is no written documentation at this time, but you may see outdated video tutorials here.

Support

To keep your online business successful you need experience and knowledge. You need to know how to build with Drupal and in some cases coding experience also. Consult the Bee issue Queue to seek professional support for your IT staff.

Version 11.x is currently supported, with 9.2 backward compatibility. Branch & releases for older versions are no longer supported by the current maintainer. New co-maintainer(s) are being sought to help manage old versions.
