Features

Asymmetric Translation Capabilities: This module enables users to leverage AI translations from the AI Module specifically for layout builder translations configured to be asymmetric.

Integration with Layout Builder Asymmetric Translation: The functionality is made possible through seamless integration with the Layout Builder Asymmetric Translation module.

Important note

The module is no longer needed for AI 1.2.x onwards, since it has been included into the main AI package.

Requirements

To successfully use this module, ensure the following modules are enabled:

Note: Until it is merged in the AI module, apply the patch from
AI module issue #3467075.
This patch adds the basic functionality to translate layout builder (symmetric).

Post-Installation Steps

After installing the module, please ensure the following configurations:

  • Translatable Fields: Ensure that the fields referencing blocks (layout) are configured to be translatable.
  • Non-Translatable Block Fields: Make sure that the block fields themselves are not set to be translatable.
  • Out-of-the-Box Functionality: The module should work seamlessly once the above settings are configured.
