Post-Installation

1. Install the base module and desired platform modules:
   

   composer require drupal/ai_social_posts
     drush en ai_social_posts ai_social_posts_x ai_social_posts_linkedin

2. Two ways to create social posts:
   • Primary: Navigate to any content item and use the "AI Social Posts" tab to create platform-specific variations
   • Alternative: Create standalone posts via /admin/content/ai-social-posts
3. Customize AI generation prompts per platform to match your content strategy
4. Optionally enable analysis tools for content optimization

Which social media platforms does AI Social Posts support?

The module ships with plugins for ten platforms: X (Twitter), LinkedIn posts, LinkedIn Articles, Facebook, Medium, Substack, Reddit, Bluesky, YouTube, and Hacker News. Each platform has its own submodule with format-specific constraints such as character limits and formatting rules.

New platforms can be added through custom submodules without modifying the base module. Each submodule defines its own validation rules, prompt templates, and post entity fields.

Can I customise the AI prompts for each platform?

Yes. Each platform plugin has configurable AI generation prompts so you can match your content strategy per channel. Adjust tone, length, hashtag usage, or any other parameter for each platform independently. The prompts control how the AI transforms your source content into platform-specific posts.

Does AI Social Posts require a specific AI provider?

No. The module uses CKEditor AI Agent for its interactive editing features, which connects to any AI provider configured through the Drupal AI module: OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Mistral, or DXPR AI. The same provider powers real-time editing commands like "Make Shorter" and "Simplify Language".
