Advanced Search
The Advanced Search module enhances content searching by providing keyword, field, and boolean search capabilities. It allows users to customize search results display, pagination, and sorting, and leverages Ajax for a more dynamic search experience.
The Advanced Search module provides keyword search, field search, boolean search, and search within collections and sub collections.
Development is done on Github.com so please contribute PRs there rather than MRs here.
Features
It provides a pager UI component that allows the user to set the number of items to show, select sort criteria and display style (grid or list). It provides a global search block, which redirects the search query to a search page. It also enables the use of Ajax with views (powered by Solr), search blocks, facets, and search results.
Post-Installation
You can set some configuration at admin/config/islandora/advanced_search, including which elements show up on the various blocks. Then, you can place the Advanced Search blocks using your choice of block placement method.
