Drupal field formatter providing Add to Calendar links.

  • iCal / MS Outlook

The field formatter provides a button next to the field that shows a drop-down menu containing Add to Calendar links. Event title, location, description can be modified in the field formatter settings. Basic styling can be modified through CSS.

Usage

  1. Create a date field on any entity type.
  2. Open field formatter settings in Manage Display.
  3. Change the date field's format to Add to Cal.

8.x-2.x Notes

2.x is a full rewrite of the Drupal 8 module, containing some new features and backwards-incompatible changes. If you're upgrading from 1.x, please review the release notes.

Token support is available by installing the Token module.

8.x-1.x Notes

After installation, we recommend clearing your cache, or you may see a strange behavior where the .ics file downloads try to load as nodes rather than triggering a download. (/admin/config/development/performance)

8.x-1.x is unlikely to receive future enhancements. It is recommended that you use the 8.x-2.x branch.
