Acquia Site Factory Connector enables your Drupal site to connect to Acquia Site Factory, a platform for managing many websites at scale. This integration allows for single sign-on, extensible data scrubbing, configuration assistance, and enables Site Factory to perform tasks like site updates.

Acquia Site Factory provides a multisite platform for digital technology organizations to efficiently deliver and govern many digital experience websites at global scale. Site Factory creates a platform to support standard processes for building, provisioning and maintaining many websites and provides the digital platform team the visibility, trust, and control for operating global websites as a service with a centralized, cloud management console.

Adding this module to your codebase connects your website to Site Factory and enables several features, including the following:

  • Single sign-on with Site Factory user accounts
  • Generic and extensible scrubbing when staging sites
  • Codebase configuration assistance with the acsf-init command
  • Endpoints for Site Factory to run tasks, such as website updates

Site Factory websites that require Drush 9 must use the 8.x-2.x distribution of this module. Drupal 8 websites that do not need Drush 9 should use the 8.x-1.x distribution of this module.

Installation

For information about adding this module to your own Drupal distribution that is managed by Site Factory, see Using your own Drupal distribution in the Acquia Help Center.

Updating

You must execute the acsf-init command whenever you update Drupal core or the Acquia Cloud Site Factory Connector module to a newer version. Please see the product documentation for more details.
