acquia_analytics_redirects

This is a small utility module that complements Acquia's Varnish page caching implementation.

This module is not an official Acquia product and only provides a workaround for a specific use case found in the default Acquia Varnish configuration which may conflict with business requirements under certain circumstances.

It's sole purpose is to maintain query parameters when requests are redirected by the redirect module whilst maintaining a high cache hit rate at the Varnish layer. You can read further documentation for the Acquia Cloud Varnish feature for Stripping query strings in Varnish

This is useful when promoting unique pages or using search engine parameters in marketing URLs or online adverts.

301 and 302 redirects are supported.

Simply install and enable and the module will start working on all redirects and will also handle redirects that pass through multiple individual redirects.

Note that the Internal Page Cache module must be disabled/uninstalled for this module to work.
