Achla AI Search connects a Drupal site to Achla's hosted, citation-backed AI search service. It uses signed Ownership v2 connection and loads only backend-authorized, signed widget releases.

Post-Installation

Grant the Manage the Achla AI Search connector permission only to trusted operators, then open Administration > Configuration > Web services > Achla AI Search. Connect the site, wait for indexing to become ready, choose placement, and explicitly enable public widget output.

Additional Requirements

Requires Drupal 10.3 or Drupal 11.3, PHP 8.1+, JSON, OpenSSL, Sodium, a public site origin, and an Achla account. Achla provides a permanent Free plan with up to 30 indexed pages and 30 visitor queries per month.

External service and privacy

The module communicates with achlaai.com for signed ownership, lifecycle status, diagnostics, release metadata, indexing, and search. After an administrator explicitly enables output, the signed public widget is loaded from Achla and visitor queries are sent to Achla with normal HTTP metadata and a public project identifier.
