Drupal core to adopt Gin admin theme to replace Claro.

This project is minimally maintained until Gin is moved to Core.

xClaro offers a lightweight solution for site administrators seeking a dark mode interface in Drupal. Designed as a module, it enhances the Claro administration theme without requiring a new theme installation.

This module is ideal for administrators who love Claro but need dark mode for comfort or accessibility. It's especially useful for sites with frequent after-hours administration tasks or developers preferring dark UI themes.

Note: the vertical blue navigation bar is provided by the xNavigation module

Post-Installation

After enabling the xClaro module (Admin > Extend):

1. Navigate to Appearance settings.
2. Ensure Claro is the active administration theme.
3. Enjoy the automatic application of the dark color scheme—no additional configuration required.

xClaro requires:

• Claro must be set as the administration theme.

No additional dependencies or external libraries are needed.

We support Drupal CMS. Make sure to switch the administration theme to Claro and enable this module.
