url_embed

URL Embed allows URLs to be embedded within a text area using a WYSIWYG editor or stored and rendered via link fields.

URL Embed supports services that integrate with oEmbed, employing the Embed library to handle retrieving and displaying URLs. See the full list of supported providers

Installation and configuration

• URL Embed can be installed via the standard Drupal installation process.
• Once enabled, it can be added to any Drupal text format as described at Configuring URL Embed

Development

As of 2024, a new, major version 3.x branch is in progress. This will streamline the module code by removing legacy components. See Roadmap for 3.x branch
